Unlike encryption-only or VPN, FileSECURE access permissions (View, Print, Copy) are easily established for each recipient, can be modified after distribution, and each use of protected information is tracked. Additionally, privileges can be easily designated to take effect and/or expire at specific times. FileSECURE can be integrated with Sharp and Kyocera Digital Imager's and Document Communication Systems, creating an efficient process for protecting and distributing scanned images. This automatic ScanSecure functionality makes securing scanned documents as easy as a press of a button. You can even select security settings and recipients from your digital imager's touchpad.
FileSECURE can also be used to secure electronic files right from your desktop. This can be done through Sharpdesk's™ intuitive, file management interface or by using FileSECURE as a stand-alone application.
